Application Process Documents

Professional Member Applicant

After you have completed the online Professional Member Application Form you are required to complete the next step as it applies to you.

1. Pathway 1 Academic Track - Apply online then submit the following required forms:
• Academic Application Submission Checklist
• Therapeutic Recreation Practicum Placement Confirmation Form
2. Pathway 2 Certification Track - Apply online then no further forms are required
• No additional documents need to be submitted with your online application. ATRA will confirm with NCTRC regarding the CTRS number entered on the application form
3. Pathway 4 Return to Practice - Do Not Apply Online, submit forms only
• Return to Practice Reapplication Form
• Continuing Competence Tracking Form

Supporting Member Applicant

After you have completed the online Supporting Member Application Form you are required to complete the second step

Student Member Applicant

After you have completed the online Student Member Application Form you are required to create a .jpeg of your official Student Identification and email to application@alberta-tr.ca
