Changing, Retiring or Resigning your ATRA Membership?
Are you planning a Membership Change, Retirement or Withdrawal this year? Help us keep our records up to date.
Congratulations on your graduation. When it is time to become an ATRA Professional member, please return to the Membership Application page.
This category is for professional members who have retired from practice and / or moved out of Alberta and want to maintain support for the objectives of the TR profession in Alberta please apply as a new applicant at https://www.alberta-tr.ca/membership-applications-and-renewals/member-application-online-form/.
If you would like ATRA to honour your retirement, please send vicepresident@alberta-tr.ca a note and we will include your name in our Awards & Recognition Program in October.
Help keep our records up to date
Please send an email to vicepresident@alberta-tr.ca if you will be:
- retiring within the membership year,
- do not intend to practice therapeutic recreation,
- do not wish to renew in the Alumni Membership category,
- or withdraw your membership from ATRA.
Returning to Practice Post Retirement?: In the event you elect to return to practice post retirement (casual, part time, temporary or full time position) within 36 months from your last membership expiration date please follow the Pathway 3. Renewing a Lapsed Professional Membership to renew your professional membership (late fees will apply). If you renew your membership 36+ months post retirement, you are required to follow the Pathway 4. Return to Practice track to reinstate your membership.
