CAGP-CCSMH Annual Scientific Meeting
The CAGP-CCSMH 2022 Scientific Planning Committee is excited to announce that early-bird conference registration is now open for the 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM)!
This year’s meeting will be held in Montréal, Québec, at Delta Hotels by Marriott Montréal from October 14-15. We hope you are as thrilled as we are to be heading to Montréal — a vibrant, charismatic, and welcoming city known for its exquisite architecture and first-rate dining. It’s the perfect setting for an exciting return to in-person learning, sharing, and networking with colleagues from across the country!
The 2022 ASM will focus on the theme “Human Rights and the Law: Legal, Ethical and Moral Responsibilities in Seniors’ Mental Health.” As we move into a post-pandemic era, knowing the devastating effects that COVID-19 has had on the mental health of seniors, discussing the ethical and legal issues in the organization of mental health care for seniors is all the more relevant.
This year also marks the 20th anniversary of CCSMH! Join us in celebrating 20 years of the Coalition’s hard work and dedication to promoting seniors’ mental health by connecting people, ideas, and resources. Every year, CCSMH and CAGP recognize the efforts of individuals and organizations committed to improving the mental health of older adults through two awards, the CAGP/CCSMH Seniors' Mental Health Outstanding Care and Integrative Practice Award and the CAGP/CCSMH Vision Award. The 2022 recipients will be announced and presented their awards at the ASM. We hope you will join us in celebrating their contributions.
The top priority of CAGP-CCSMH is to create a safe environment to resume our in-person learning. Please be assured that we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely to ensure that our face-to-face meeting is safe and positive. The CAGP-CCSMH ASM Committee and Board of Directors request that all attendees wear a medical-grade mask throughout the ASM and follow the COVID-19 Policy found here.
